As a therapist, I am truly grateful for the opportunities I am given to assist clients as they encounter and address the challenges we humans all face on our journey through life. My style is warm and nurturing, while also honest and authentic. I offer a safe and non-judgmental place for you to express your thoughts and feelings, explore options to resolve challenges, and provide support as you face them.

With over two decades of experience in social services and private practice in the Athens area, I continue to dedicate my career to supporting individuals and families through complex life challenges. My expertise includes the treatment of eating disorders, substance use, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Currently, my clinical focus includes anxiety, ADHD, perimenopause and aging, prenatal and postpartum support, navigating school, vocational, and societal changes, and relational challenges (both from family of origin and current relationships). I have advanced training in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Change is challenging, but in my experience, great growth and progress occur when we are uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. I encourage you to utilize these moments of discomfort to start taking steps on your path to creating the rich, full, and meaningful life you desire.
